Still Waiting

In case you haven't guessed by now, it is very easy to get anxious during the adoption process. In an attempt to reduce some of that anxiety, our agency made a decision last summer to withhold exact court dates from families. Parents were tending to get extremely anxious as they focused on the one day, and waited to hear the outcome of the judges decision. As it turned out, with less information, the parents' anxiety just lasted longer as they wondered everyday if it was THE day and jumped out of their skin every time the phone rang for weeks instead of only a day or two. SO, our agency made another decision. They reversed the policy.

Phew!!! We're SOOO relieved!

So though we're still waiting, we now know that our court date is Dec. 30 and we can pray about that specific date. Please join us in prayer!
