A time to post...

Well, I suppose I'm quite overdue for a new post.
One thing that I never quite got around to mentioning is that we were logged into the China database (LID) on April 20, 2007. SO, we have been just hanging and waiting since then. We actually did fill out a special needs application with our agency, but we didn't really read the instructions and so we filled it out sort of incorrectly. We didn't discover this until after we began the process of adopting from Ethiopia. I believe it happened that way for a reason...

ANYWAY! Moving on...

Okay, so I think I did post about how the Lord had laid the little ones in Ethiopia on our hearts several months back. We believed strongly that we had a child or children there and began the paperwork to adopt concurrently from Ethiopia while we waited on our China adoption. So we were finally DTE on July 25, 2008.

As a side note, we've been trying to teach our 4-year-old to wait--wait for a snack, or a drink, or help with something, or whatever. She continually reminds us that she doesn't like to wait.

I don't like to wait either.

But our God is perfect, and His timing is perfect, and He knows what He's doing. We desire His will.

So now we wait and see what our great God has in store.
