Yesterday evening, our precious Savior took His beautiful little Maria Sue Chapman home. And while it is glorious for Maria, her family and friends are suffering an incredible loss. The circumstances are so tragic in that her older, adoring brother did not see her as he drove down the long driveway to their house. She was struck by the SUV that he was driving, and her sisters apparently witnessed it. Though the loss of Maria must be the source of unspeakable grief for her family, God saw fit to bless them with the privilege and honor of raising and loving her for the time that she was here. And God is sovereign.
He knew before time began that Maria would be on this earth for just five short years, and that she would have the privilege of spending the rest of eternity in His holy presence.
Please pray for the Chapman family as they grieve this tremendous loss.

We will miss you Maria Sue. We are praying for our Lord to hold the Chapman family together and strengthen them during this time, as only He can do.
We are thankful for the life of Maria. Her joy, her spunk, her smile. And for the countless lives she has touched.
