Only Seven More Days Until We Leave

I just heard my oldest son upstairs singing "Only seven more days until we leave..." Next Thursday cannot come soon enough for any of us! Of course, we still have another 10 or 11 days left before we get our sweet Megan, but there's excitement in beginning the physical journey to get closer to her.

As we've been preparing for our trip, we've had a few little hindrances come up along the way, but are praying for "smooth sailing" from now through our arrival back home. Please keep our family in your prayers as we approach our departure date and throughout our trip to China.

We are slowly but steadily getting ready for an overseas "family vacation" as well as the addition of a fourth child. I have to say, that makes for a lot to do. We have been able to check a few things off of our "to do" list, but somehow the list grew. I'm hoping that it will hold steady and give us a chance to catch up.
