Home Sweet Home

We made it home! The travel was tiring, but miraculously easy. Megan did wonderfully! She played and slept. She only cried during diaper changes and when she wanted her bottle. She fussed a little when she got bored or wanted a snack. The older kids also did great. We all slept a little bit which helped to pass the time.

When we finally exited our last flight, we were so excited to be greeted by family and friends. It was an awesome end to an amazing journey. Of course, we went out for Mexican food first thing. Megan again proved to be a true family member--she loved her first bit of Mexican food!

Dh has come down with a cold, but he's really fine, and we're thankful to have made it home healthy. We're all still a little off schedule, but I guess we'll get back to normal soon. Megan is doing really well with everything. She cried last night when I left her in her bed, and I ended up letting her sleep with us. Tonight she slept for a while in her bed, but the upstairs air conditioning is out, and she was miserably hot, so she's sleeping on the floor downstairs now.
