We're Packing to Come Home!!

Yea!!! We're packing and ready to head for home. Actually, Dh and the three older kids are swimming, Megan's napping, and I'm blogging, but I'll start packing just as soon as I get finished with this.

We had our consulate appointment today and did the group oath thing, and that was the last official thing we had to do. When we got back to the hotel, we took group pictures. That was pretty tricky with all those squirmy babies and so many cameras. Now we have to wait for our babies' visas, and then we are set to go home. We will leave our hotel at 5:45 tomorrow morning. Over the course of about 24 hours, we'll fly to Hong Kong, then to San Francisco, and finally back home. It's been a long two weeks, but it has truly been an incredible experience for all of us.

Please continue to lift us up in prayer. Pray that Megan travels well and that we all continue to stay healthy. So many babies and some parents are really sick with head and chest congestion. Please pray for those sick babies to get through the flights okay. That ear pressure can be tough even when your ears aren't congested.

We have really bonded with the other families in our group. It's sad to say goodbye not knowing if we'll see each other again. As much as I'm ready to go home, I'm a little sad too. We have a wonderful group and we've had a wonderful time together.

I can't tell you how much we have appreciated all of the prayer that has been sent up on our family's behalf. Our God is an awesome God and He has answered your prayers. You guys are truly an army of prayer warriors that have had a huge impact on this incredible journey for Megan.

In His Mighty Grip...

YEAH!!! I woke up excited this morning just thinking about your return. I know the goodbye is bittersweet for you there, but the reunion here will be sweet indeed. Megan is already family to so, so many of us and we can't wait to love her in person. :)
We're praying you home,
Cyndi

We are so very happy for you and your precious family to have had such an amazing experience and to have a beautiful new daughter to bring home with you. We have loved getting to read about your adventure from the beginning to the end. I do hope you continue to write after you get home. We love you and hope to meet little Megan at some time in the future. God bless you all.

Let me be the one of the first to welcome Megan to the US. My wife and I are glad to see you all survived and have such a precious momento. We look forward to hearing all the good advice you can give us for our turn in December!

God Bless
